Parents understand the value of Little Ninjas
We've collated some Testimonials of students or families of students who have attended our school.
As a senior police officer and sporting coach I know the value of sport for children of all ages in building confidence, self respect and fitness to improve the "life chances" of children and prepare them for the challenges of adulthood. Ed has not only had fantastic personal achievements in the field of Karate but also as an award winning coach. His drive and enthusiasm for the sport shines through in his coaching and he makes his sessions entertaining and fun for the children and adults alike. He has a great way with the children and whilst demanding total effort ensures that all abilities enjoy every session and take away valuable lessons. His range of techniques, sparring, games and self defence make the sessions fly by and all the group leave wanting more. I have two boys who train with Ed and as a parent would recommend his sessions to all. Thanks Ed. Bob Harrison
Since our daughter Tiffany joined Ed Byrnes Black Belt Academy she has gone from strength to strength, she joined at the age of 7 and is now 9 years old (there are older and younger groups). We have seen many improvements, concentration, attention span, and physical fitness, this is not just in Tiffany but in the other students as well. Ed is able to bring out the best in the children, and even in this challenging sport Ed still makes it fun and enjoyable. Julian & Janette Wilson
I bring my Son Logan because he loves it and I feel that Martial arts channels his high energy levels, I hope he'll go far in the future. Sharon Roberts
The Byrne Black Belt Academies classes are good for concentration, promotes better behaviour and above all my sons have great fun and really enjoy themselves. Mrs Sharon Dingle
My son Billy loves his Martial arts, it makes him very happy. He even teaches his brother. Martial arts helps Billy to control his temper. We are really proud of him, Billy is very proud to show off his trophies. Thanks Ed you're a great teacher and that makes all the difference. Mrs Julie Harbone
My son has been attending Little Ninjas in Fraddon for over a year, since he was 4 years old. He is now an orange belt and is due to take his next belt this week. We initially started him with BBBA as he is a shy little boy who lacked confidence. I did alot of research into karate groups and also spoke to other parents with kids of a similar age, Ed Byrne and the BBBA were really highly recommended for confidence building, team work, structure and discipline. Ed and the other instructors have a very natural and non-intimidating style and bring out the best in each child individually. Since attending our little boy has gained more confidence, he looks forward to each session is really proud of his belt achievements. His technique has really improved and he is much more focused as he improves. I would and do recommend BBBA to friends and relatives who are looking into karate for their children. Sarah Miller
My 5 year old daughter has been a student of the academy for 4 months now and I have seen an amazing change in her. Her attention span has increased, she is more focused, her confidence has rocketed and her balance has improved no end. She is already a yellow belt, and her next grading is this weekend! I can't recommend it enough for both children and adults. Nicola Shilson
My 6-year old son has attended BBBA classes for the past year,we're moving back to the united states, but in that time he's learned loads, grown in confidence and discipline, progressed quickly through the belts, and loved training under Ed and his fantastic instructors. Ed has a great rapport with the students, and he motivates them to perform their best with respect, discipline, and skill: great things for kids to learn!- To Ed -I have to say, your list of credentials on your signature is enough to give us mere mortals a complex. You can put that as another testimonial. :) Honestly, I think it's fair to highlight the fact that you spend about, what--25--hours a week with lots of young children, and they haven't done you in yet. May have made your hair fall out (or are you just covering that they've given you gray hair by shaving it...?), but at least you're properly armed and allowed to whack them back occasionally. I contend you're one of the smartest businessmen I know; it's a genius plan! Julie Julie Dawson
